Sharon Demetra Maybin

Funeral services for Ms. Sharon Demetra "Peanut" Maybin, age 44, will be conducted on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove AME Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Maybin passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of Ray Maybin and Lillia Coleman Maybin.  She was a graduate of Newberry High School.

Ms. Maybin was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Jessie M. Coleman and Johnson Coleman; paternal grandparents, Carrie Mae Maybin and Eugene Maybin.

Surviving are her mother, Lillia C. Maybin; father, Ray Maybin; step-father, Calvin Davis; long-time companion, Frank Jones; children, Conji, Ieisha, Jamel and Dennis Jones; sisters, Gail (Anthony) Byrd, Geisha Coleman (Jamie Gartman); brothers, Pritchett Coleman, Sterling Maybin, Eric Maybin, Theory (Teresa) Maybin and Leroy Maybin all of Newberry, SC; six grandchildren, ten aunts, six uncles, special friends, Keyshia Kinard and Zwailia Jones, a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
