Romeo Lamont Scurry

Memorial services for Mr. Romeo Lamont Scurry will be conducted on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Scurry passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at his home in Wilkesboro, NC.  Born in Newberry County, he was the son of Marjorie Tribble Jones and the late Charles Romeo Tuggle.

Mr. Scurry was predeceased by his grandparents Mr. McCline Tribble, Sr. , Mrs. Sally Tribble and Mrs. Ann (Annie) Tuggle.

Mr. Scurry loved his family, basketball and watching sports especially his Baltimore Ravens.  His smile was infectious and his laughter could cause anyone to smile.

Surviving are his mother, Marjorie Tribble Jones; sisters, Patricia Scurry and Diane Scurry all of Newberry, SC; Jeanette (Tyrone) Bell of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Johnny M. Scurry, Jr. of Clinton, SC; Robert L. Scurry of Columbia, SC; Tony Scurry of Newberry, SC; devoted cousin, Ann Tuggle (Darrell) Kinard of Newberry, SC; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

The family is at the home of his mother Mrs. Marjorie T. Jones , 2061 Smith Road, Apt. E7, Newberry, SC.
