Roger Davis

Funeral services for Mr. Roger Davis, age 73, will be conducted on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Miller Chapel AME Church.  Burial will follow in Trinity AME Church cemetery.  Visitation will be on Monday evening 6-8 at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Davis passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.  Born in Newberry, South Carolina, he was the son of the late James "Doc" Davis and the late Ada Lee Hipp Davis.  He was a member of Elisha AME Church.

Surviving are sons, Dwayne (Claralita) Davis of Greenville, SC; Kent Arlen Davis of Middleton, Wisconsin; sisters, Elizabeth (Pennod) Dunlap of Columbia, SC; Lue Crecie (Bobby) Gladney of Capitol Heights, MD; Lue Vester Davis of Newberry, SC; Harriette (Herman) Zeigler of Colorado Springs, CO; Ansy Scott of Norristown, PA; Lonnie Pennie of Passaic, NJ; brothers, Rev. G. Bernard (Barbara) Davis and Alexander (Eunice) Davis of Columbia, SC; Quincy (Barbara J.) Davis of Aurora, CO; Brady (Ann) Davis of Ft. Washington, MD; Wallace Davis of Norristown, PA; devoted friend, Floree R. Brown; one aunt, one uncle, two sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
