Robert Lee Jones, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee Jones, Sr., age 65, will be conducted on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Werts Cemetery.

Mr. Jones passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at his home.  Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Sherman Jeter and the late Willie Mae Jones.  He was a graduate of Gallman High School and attended Denmark College.

Mr. Jones was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Williams and Shirley Jones.

Surviving are his children, Serena Pitts (Johnny) of Greenville, SC; Reginald Spearman (April), Robert Jones, Jr. (Carmen), Lamont Jones and Calvin Jones all of Newberry, SC; sisters, Eugenia H. Harmon (Thomas) of Columbia, Gussy Lee Jones of Newberry, SC, Kathy Harmon of Columbia, SC, Doris Price (Kevin) of Pomaria, SC, Meta Harmon and Barbara J. Mathis of Newberry, SC; brothers, Billy L. Jones (Patricia) of Newberry, SC, Raymond J. Jones (Mildred) of Colorado Springs and James A. Harmon (Mary) of Prosperity, SC; twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of his son Robert & Carmen Jones, 32 Hartford Heights, Newberry, SC.
