Otis Thomas (Sr.) Robinson

Funeral services for Mr. Otis Thomas Robinson, Sr., age 73, will be conducted on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-7 at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Robinson passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Providence Hospital.  Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late James Eddie Robinson, Sr. and the late Stevie Lucille Moon Robinson.  He was baptized at Bethlehem Baptist Church at an early age and became a member of James Hopewell Baptist Church.  He was a loving and devoted husband for 52 years.

Mr. Robinson was predeceased by siblings, Luevone Robinson Sims, James Eddie Robinson, Jr., Bennie Lee Robinson and John Willie Robinson.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn G. Robinson; daughter, Fanta N. Robinson of Columbia, SC; Grushan R. Robinson of Richmond, VA; sons, Otis T.(Josephine) Robinson, Jr., Bryant C. (Natasha) Robinson all of Newberry, SC; sisters, Linda Robinson of Lusby, MD; Betty Jean Wilson of Columbia, SC; Judith R. Sami of San Leandro, CA; brothers, Lee Grant (Margie) Robinson of Norfolk, VA; Riley Robinson of Lusby, MD; Billy Earl (Jackie) Robinson of Newberry, SC; Arthur (Cynthia) Robinson of Tampa, FL; eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, five aunts, five uncles, six sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, a number of other relatives and friends.
