Mary Thelma (Gallman) Neal

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Thelma Neal will be conducted on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Hannah AME Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Neal passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015.  Born in Newberry, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late William and Geneva Gallman.  She was a faithful member of Hannah AME Church where she was president of the Usher Board, member of the Stewardess Board, Women's Missionary Society, Pastor's Aid, and Gospel Choir.  She was also a member of Women's Home Aid Society #16.  Mrs. Neal was educated in the Public Schools of Newberry County.

Mrs. Neal retired from Remington Products.

Surviving are her husband, Julius Neal, Sr.; daughters, Tammie Neal and Lisa Neal both of Bridgeport, CT; son, Julius Neal, Jr. (Stacey) of West Haven, CT, Rodney Dean Gallman reared in the home; sisters, Bertha Shipman and Gaynell Borders  of Elizabeth, NJ; Sandra Sims of Columbia, SC; brother, William Gallman of Elizabeth, NJ, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, five aunts, two uncles, and other relatives and friends.
