Mary Bedenbaugh

Memorial services for Mrs. Mary A. Bedenbaugh will be conducted on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Bedenbaugh passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at her home.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Colie Dewalt and the late  Alice Lucinda Kinard Dewalt.  She was a member of Mt. Hebron AME Church.  Mrs. Bedenbaugh retired from Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Bedenbaugh was predeceased by her husband, Aaron V. Bedenbaugh; two sisters, Sarah Alice Jeter and Carrie L. Harmon; one brother, Jessie A. Dewalt.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Geraldine (Heyward) Walker of Prosperity, SC; one son, Mr. Gerald (Dawn) Bedenbaugh of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Mrs. Mamie Ruff of Newberry, SC; three brothers, Mr. James (Ernestine) Dewalt and Mr. Willie (Bessie) Dewalt of Prosperity, SC; Mr. Curtis (Susan) Dewalt of Newberry, SC; five grandchildren, London (Curtis) Wicker, Kim (Isaiah) Walker, Crystal (Brandon) Tobe, Germaya and Jessica Bedenbaugh; ten great-grandchildren, two devoted nephews, George Ray Sheppard and Colie Dewalt; devoted niece, Loretta Sheppard; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
