Family,
I have just today learned of Nettie's passing, and am as shocked as you all have been.
I worked with her for years at WalMart Logistics, and she was always a sweet, kind, and fun personality. I nick named her "the mail lady", as she operated the shipping mail sorter for a long time there in DotCom. She and sister Sharon nick named me " Monterrey". I used to kid her when she talked about her relatives in Philidelphia that that city was supposed to be in New Jersey instead of my home state of Pennsylvania. She'd laugh. Both these sisters were a joy to work with.
Please accept my sincere condolences on Nettie's passing. All things according to God's good time, and by His design. 55 just seems so young. May she find the rest in her Lord and Savior that her faith brought her.

I first heard about Marionette, when I was a young Sailor, in my teens, talking to a slightly older Sailor (Milton) down in our ship's engine-room, in the middle of the night; in the middle of the ocean
As he was teaching the new guy (Me) about all the equipment.
We somehow started talking about the pretty girls in each of our home towns. Milt
talked only of this one girl named Marionette and how he wished they could have been more than just "Friends". He told me what a nice person she was and that he always felt so good when he was around her.
Fast forward some six years later and we are both out of the Navy. I was so surprised to find out that the Good Lord, had somehow aligned the two of them in a position to now start dating. I knew in my heart that this time Milton, would not allow her to slip away from him again!
We all know how the rest of this story goes and how they grew to have a wonderful family and an awesome LOVE!!! you know how much I LOVE YOU and have always thanked the Lord, for allowing us to meet Milton. We just didn't talk about women as people may think that that's all Navy Men do. I want all to know how you and I also read Our Bible's to each other many times while we served.
For over 36 years, you have been my best friend. I know the quality of FATHER you are and I know in time, things will get better for you...IN TIME!!!
Love You All,
Kermit,

Lord, my heart is broken by the loss of my dear friend, Nettie. But I know that you are near. My spirit is crushed, but I know that you are near. I pray that you will bless and comfort those who mourn, and I trust in you to provide comfort and strength for Nettie’s family and friends. For she loved you so. She gave strength and encouragement to the lives she touched everyday. I trust that you will rescue all that remain under this dark cloud of loss today. When we feel sad and discouraged, remind us of Nettie’s strength and faith in you. That is what she gave to her friends and family everyday, she never waivered. If we all had a soul as beautiful as Nettie, this would be a better place. Lord, hold her close and love her as we do, your gain is our loss. Amen

I first meet "Net" on a band school bus trip a few years back. We sat together and just hit it off from the moment we started talking (which was usually non-stop). We would meet up for lunch at our favorite place "Fusion" and would go mall shopping or to a flea market. She had such a wonderful personality, always smiling, you just couldn't help loving her. I am so sorry for your loss. I know she will be watching over you from the Heavens and this Christmas she will be singing with the Angels. With heartfelt sympathy to her family. I will miss her. June

The world has lost a wonderful spirit but God has gained an awesome angel. I am thankful to have known her, worked with her and talked about the goodness of the Lord with her. I didn't know a lot about her personal life but I can only imagine she had a great one because she knew the ultimate Designer for the family foundation, God.
To the family, my sincerest condolences. She will be missed more than words can express. She was more than an associate of Walmart Distribution, we was also our family and we loved her too. Your family is in our prayers,
