Lawrence Edward Robinson

Funeral services for Mr. Lawrence Edward (Lonzo) Robinson will be conducted on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Gethsemane Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Robinson passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at his home.  Born in Blair, South Carolina, he was the son the late Maggie Jackson Robinson.  He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Robinson; daughter, Tameka Hopkins; sons, Michael Robinson and Demarcus Robinson all of Newberry, SC; Demetrius Robinson of Blair, SC; ten grandchildren including three granddaughters reared in the home, Kyaundrius and Qwanzaa Hopkins; Malayjah Frazier; one great-grandchild; sister, Lucille Wadlington of Blair, SC; brothers James T. Robinson (Paulette) of North Carolina; Herman Robinson (Bessie) of Pomaria, SC; one aunt, Vernice Jackson; great aunt, Arie Robinson (Solomon) all of Blair, SC; one great-uncle; devoted cousins, Ronald and Etta Goodwin of Newberry, SC; Deborah and Thomas Woodard of Blair, SC; friend, Nancy Wise; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
