Juanita (Moon) Ruff

Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Moon Ruff, age 98, widow of Thomas James "TJ" Ruff, will be conducted on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Saint Mary's AME Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Ruff passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at White Oak Manor-Newberry.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Moon and the late Bessie Burton Moon.  She was a member of Saint Mary's AME Church, Women's Home Aid Society and Home Benefit Society.

Mrs. Ruff was predeceased by sons, Roger, Alonzo, Sanders and James Ruff; sisters, Stacie M. Robinson, Sallie M. Werts, Bessie Wilkerson and Stevie M. Robinson; brothers, Alonzo and Ralph Moon; mother-in-law, Nora Suber Ruff and father-in-law, Walter Ruff.

Surviving are two daughters, Sara Moon White of Philadelphia, PA; Louise Ruff Griffin of Joanna, SC; one sister, Lillie Mae Felder of Woodstock, GA; thirteen grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
