Jimmie Lee Hopkins

Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Lee "Tuttie Fruity" Hopkins, age 60, will be conducted on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Gethsemane Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Hopkins passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Blair, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Tom Hopkins and the late Mattie Bates Hopkins.  He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church.  He attended the Public Schools of Fairfield County and was a former employee of Leavell Azalea Farm.

Surviving are his daughter, Lyrongala Houseal of Hayward, California; sisters, Mary Ann Robinson of Newberry, SC; Sharon Hopkins of Whitmire, SC; Anna Wicker of Pomaria, SC; brother, Thomas Hopkins of Newberry, SC; one grandchild, Amara Lee Praylow; one aunt, two uncles, one sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
