Jerry Williams

Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Williams, age 56, will be conducted on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Werts Cemetery.

Mr. Williams passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Self Regional Medical Center.  Born in Bamberg, South Carolina, he was the son of Daisy Williams and the late Odell Johnson.  He attended Fairview Baptist Church and worked as a forklift operator for Lominack Logging Company after relocating to Newberry for many years.

Mr. Williams was predeceased by a brother, Robert Williams; daughter, Charlene Williams and a son, Robert Lee Clark, Sr.

Surviving are his wife, Mattie Pearl Williams; mother, Daisy Williams; daughters, Geraldine Williams of Spartanburg, SC; Devarn S. Brown of Newberry, SC; Barbie LaShawn Lewis (Kenneth) of Newberry, SC; son, Jerry Williams of Hartford, CT; sister, Leola Williams of Smoaks, SC; sixteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friend Larry Burton.
