Jay P. Maybin

Funeral services for Mr. Jay P. Maybin will be conducted on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2:00 PM at New Enoree Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Maybin passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.  Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Eugene Maybin and the late Carrie Mae Wilson Maybin.

Mr. Maybin was predeceased by siblings, Tommie Lee Maybin, Willie Maybin, Ellen Singleton and Andrew Maybin.

Surviving are his children, Roshawn Gray of Prosperity, SC; Micharel Swindler (Kresha) of Denver, Colorado; Terrence Rutherford (Ayeshie) of Greenville, SC; sisters, Julia Nelson and Magnolia Maybin; brothers, Joe Maybin (Donna), Ray Maybin (Lillia), James Maybin (Johnnie), Freddie Maybin and Robert Maybin all of Newberry, SC; five grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Jessie Maybin; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
