James Stanley Mayers

Mr. James Stanley Mayers passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

Born in Chapin, SC, he was the son of the late Alfred Mayers and the late Mary E. McFall Mayers.  He was a member of Providence AME Church.

Surviving are his children, Cynthia D. Williams of Newberry, SC; Alisha J. Adams of Cramerton, NC; Anthony J. Adams of Columbia, SC; sisters, Shirley Williams (Anthony) of Little Mountain, SC; Bessie Dew (Samuel) of Irmo, SC; Catherine Blair of Newberry, SC; brothers, David A. Mayers of Baltimore, MD; Willie L. Mayers (Catherine) of Baltimore, MD; Alvin R. Mayers (Olivia), Ervin Mayers (Betty) and Jacob Mayers; six grandchildren, two aunts, one uncle, one daughter-in-law, one son-in-law, other  relatives and friends.
