Ms. Pauline,
I am sorry to read of the death of your brother. Losing a loved one in death is always difficult to endure, for it seems so permanent. The Bible however, makes a sure promise that we can see our loved ones again. At Isaiah 26:19 God himself makes this promise:“Your dead will live.My corpses will rise up.Awake and shout joyfully,You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning,And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Yes, soon, by means of the resurrection, you can see your brother again because this is a promise from God, who cannot lie (Titus 1:2). May this sure promise comfort you and bring you peace as you await its fulfillment. Your family has my deepest sympathy.
