James Fred Cromer

Funeral services for Mr. James Fred Cromer, age 51, will be conducted on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Belmont Baptist Church cemetery.

Mr. Cromer passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at his home.  Born in Newberry County, he was the son John William Swittenburg and the late Norma Jean Williams Cromer.

Surviving are his daughter, Lakiara Caldwell of Prosperity, SC; sisters, Jacqueline Williams (David), Kathy Cromer, Sharon Cromer (Thomas), Ashley Williams (Markell), LaShanda Cromer all of Newberry, SC; Mary Sampson (Carl) and Vickie Cromer of North Carolina; Lisa Ruff and Lucy Wise of Prosperity, SC; Cynthia Boyd and Teressa Boyd of Pomaria, SC; brothers, Rev. Richard Williams (Rosa) of North Carolina; Ernest Williams; Bryan Cromer (Leeoshish) of Laurens, SC; Kyle Cromer (Monique), Walter Cromer and Cornelius Cromer of Newberry, SC; Ben Boyd (Crystal), Robin Ruff and Jonathan Boyd; devoted Aunts; Carrie Ellis and Sussie Lyles; devoted cousin, Johnathan Jones; devoted friends, Demetrius Johnson, Keisha Williams, Ozzie Goree, Kevis Chapman, Antoine Elkins, Wilson Caldwell, Brenda Livingston and Bernadetta Smith; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
