Funeral services for Mrs. Jacqueline Williams Lindsey, age 69, will be conducted on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Grove AME Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Lindsey passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at her home.  Born on July 8, 1946 in Fort Myers, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Harry Reese and the late Lois Williams.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove AME Church where she was a member of Class #8, the Missionary Society and the Pulpit Aide Ministry.

Mrs. Lindsey was predeceased by a brother, Walter Idalet.

Surviving are her husband, John Lindsey of the home; daughter, Porlanda Holden (Willie) of Winnfield, LA; sons, Wilson Brown, Jr., James Brown, Jr. and daughter-in-law Kimblyn, Angelo Brown, Sr. and daughter-in-law Veronica and Nicholas A. Brown all of Newberry, SC; sister, Mona Lisa Williams of Fort Myers, FL; 61 grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, niece, Alfonso & Felicia Williams Sanders; nephews, Felton Williams, Oscar Davis, Robert Earl Davis all of Fort Myers, FL; Elliot Jones of Warren, OH.other relatives and friends.
