Helen Theresa Maybank

Funeral services for Ms. Helen Theresa Maybank, age 57, will be conducted on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 12 Noon at Miller Chapel AME Church.  Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Maybank passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Jake Maybank and the late Pauline Maybank. Ms. Maybank was a member of Miller Chapel AME Church where she was a member of Class #1 and the Usher Board.  She was employed with Snipes Day Care and a graduate of Newberry High School.

Ms. Maybank was predeceased by a brother, Jake Maybank; nephew, Darnell Scott.

Surviving are sisters, Shirley Maybank of Pawleys Island, SC; Pauline Ruffin of Sumter, SC; Gayle Jennings of Pinewood, SC; brothers, Jerome (Michelle) Maybank, Sr. and Darrell Maybank of Pawleys Island, SC; aunt, Rebecca Maybank of Spartanburg, SC; nieces and nephews, Kayla Jennings, Quincey Ruffin, Monique Cumbee, Lavaisha Cumbee, Jerome Maybank, Jr., Jessica Irby, Aeriana Cumbee and Jeremiah Maybank and numerous friends and relatives.
