Gladys Ardelia (Lindsey) Livingston

Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Ardelia "Sweet Pea" Livingston, age 55, will be conducted on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 3:00 PM at James Hopewell Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Livingston passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at her home.   Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late John Lindsey and the late Ponzell Coleman Lindsey.  She was a member of James Hopewell Baptist Church and a graduate of Newberry High School and Newberry College.

Mrs. Livingston was predeceased by a brother, David Lindsey.

Surviving are two daughters, Essie N. Lindsey of Laurens, SC; Brittany S. Lindsey(Carlton Brown) of Newberry, SC; brothers, John "Amp" Lindsey of Columbia, SC; Rufus "Calvin" Lindsey (Claire) of Lawton, OK; four grandchildren, Iyanna and Lindsey Langford; Caleb Suber, Caden Brown; close friend, Henry Brooks; aunts, Lelia Davis and Patsy Shells; uncle, Eugene Coleman (Sharon); mother-in-law, Inez Livingston; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Suber, Brenda, Linda, Jervis Perry; and a number of other relatives and friends.
