George Edward Reeder

Funeral services for Mr. George Edward Reeder, Sr., age 63, will be conducted on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Werts Cemetery.

Mr. Reeder passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Lexington Medical Center.  Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Frank Edward Reeder and the late Eunice Reuben Reeder.  He was a member of Trinity AME Church and a graduate of Gallman High School.

Surviving are his wife, Gladys Williams Reeder; son, George Edward Reeder, Jr.(Laura) of Lexington, SC; sisters, Frances Reeder Dewalt (Calvin) of Norristown. PA; Ida Mae Reeder of Columbia, SC; Bessie Lee Reeder of Newberry, SC; Doris Reeder of Columbia, SC; brothers, Frank Reeder (Mable) of Hillside, NJ; James Arthur Reeder (Denise) of Norristown, PA; grandchild, Jordan Reeder; seven sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, countless nieces, nephews and other relatives.
