Evans Gallman

Funeral services for Mr. Evans Gallman, age 58, will be conducted on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Lever Chapel AME Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Gallman passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at his home.  Born in Prosperity, South Carolina, he was the son of Vera Mae Dreher Gallman and the late Keister Gallman.  He was a member of Lever Chapel AME Church.  Mr. Gallman was employed with American Fiber and Finishing until it closed in 2008 and Bedenbaugh Logging.  Mr. Gallman was an excellent carpenter and automobile worker.

Mr. Gallman was predeceased by a daughter, Evea Sheree S. Praylow; siblings, George Ray Gallman, Wyman Gallman, Lorine Dewelt and Robert Gallman.

Surviving are his mother, Vera Mae Gallman; daughters, Sheree and Alisha Gallman of Newberry, SC; son, Shontay Praylow of Prosperity, SC; sisters, Dorothy Long (J. T.) of Prosperity, SC; Mary Wallace (George) of Newberry, SC; Mary Gilliam (Joseph) of Prosperity, SC; Linda Robinson of Pomaria, SC; Sheree Camack of Prosperity, SC; brothers, Jimmie Gallman of Newberry, SC; Henry Gallman (Andrena), Moses Gallman (Dorothy), Raymond Gallman (Dorothy), Benjamin, James, Jerry, and Ashley Gallman all of Prosperity, SC; Omar Abney of Newberry, SC; five grandchildren, three aunts, six uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous relatives and friends.
