Earnest Ruth Brown

Funeral services for Ms. Earnest Ruth Brown will be conducted on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Brown Chapel AME Church.  Burial will follow in Little River Zion Baptist Church cemetery.

Ms. Brown passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.  Born in Newberry County , she was the daughter of the late Lucille Alice Wilson and the late Willie Cureton.  She was a faithful member of Brown Chapel AME Church where she was a member of the Missionary Society and the Lay Organization.  She loved to fish and helping people within her community.

Ms. Brown was predeceased by her husband, Johnny Brown; brothers, Doc Wilson, Wade Wilson, Elliott Wilson, Johnnie James Wilson, Johnnie Mack Wilson, Earl Mack Wilson and Willie Wilson; sister, Dorothy E. Watts; grandson, Anthony Jayceon Brown; devoted companions, Seymore Bowie and Robert Boyd.

Surviving are her children, Patricia A. Wilson, Demetra C. Bates (Kenny), Antonio K. Brown, Deborah R. Brandon (Michael Alexander), Suzieanne Brown (Markevis), Seymore Brown (Brittany), ShaRonda Brown, Alexander Ricard Brown, Patrina A. Radford (Christopher) and Tywanda M. Johnson (Charles); devoted lifelong friend Marie Phillips; 33 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
