Dorothy (Stewart) St. John

Funeral services for Ms. Dorothy Stewart St. John, age 78, will be conducted on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Grove AME Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. St. John passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late George Stewart and the late Susan Maybin Stewart.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove AME.  Ms. St. John was a graduate of Drayton Street High School class of 1957.  She was a former employee of McKechnie Company.

Surviving are a brother, Robert (Beverly) Stewart of Norwalk, CT; nephews, Kenneth Stewart of Stratford, CT; Vincent Stewart of New Haven, CT; niece, Brenda Stewart of Gastonia, NC; great-nieces, Brittney and Courtney Stewart;  Devoted cousins Mary Aull, Laura Kinard,  Dorothy Brown , Sheila Knox , Ervin Renwick, Robert (Rosemary) Miller and  Minnie ( Benjamin) Robinson. A Very Devoted friend Estella Ruff, devoted friends Zelda Bishop, Debra Austin, Pamela Robinson, the Graham family, Judy Ashcroft , Barbara Brown Betty Williams and Linda Thacker other relatives and friends.
