Charles Griffin

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Griffin, age 68, will be conducted on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 2:00 PM at New Vision Ministries. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Mr. Griffin passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at his home. Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Eugene Kelly and the late Jessie Griffin Suber. He was predeceased by a brother, James Griffin. Surviving are three daughters, Polli Ann Neal, Rachel Faye Hiller and Frerica Fritzgerald Griffin; one son, Thomas Charles Griffin; four sisters, Narvis Gray (Plato); Barbara Dawkins (Eddie), Gerldine Lietzsey (Michael) and Beverly Johnson (Jesse) all of Newberry, SC; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two special cousins, Willie Mae Wise and Leroy Cook; devoted friend, Emma Dawkins, one son-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
