Carrie Lee Coleman

Funeral services for Ms. Carrie Lee "Lucky" Coleman, age 67, will be conducted on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove AME Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Coleman passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015 at her home.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Johnson Coleman and the late Jessie Mae Rutherford Coleman.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove AME Church where she was a member of the choir.  Ms. Coleman was also a member of Women's Home Aid Society #92.

Ms. Coleman was predeceased by a sister, Sara Alice Coleman; brothers, Henry Coleman and Jessie Coleman.

Surviving are her daughter, Consongia Davis (Ray) of Newberry, SC; sons, Otis Coleman (Aquanetta) of Newberry, SC; James Coleman (Geneva) of Charlotte, NC; Ernest Eugene Williams of Newberry, SC; sisters, Eloise Coleman, Lillia Maybin (Ray) Georgia Mae Caldwell (James); Ida Mae Williams (Sammie) all of Newberry, SC; Juanita Hare of Thomasville, NC; Dorothy Lassiter of Newberry, SC; brothers, Johnson Coleman and Roger Coleman (Shirley); twenty grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; devoted nieces, Litronda Coleman and Bonnie Nance; devoted cousin, Nancy Chaplin, devoted friend, Jimmy Ruff; devoted family friends, Brenda Werts and Marcia Kinard; other relatives and friends.
