Bennie Mae Whitener

Funeral services for Mrs. Bennie Mae Whitener, age 56, will be conducted on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Whitener passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at her home.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Ruff, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Stoudemire Ruff.  She was a member of Oak Grove Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Whitener was predeceased by her husband, Steve Whitener.

Surviving are her son, Regnail A. Ruff of Newberry, SC; sister, Betty A. Kinard of Prosperity, SC; brothers, John Sammie Ruff of Newberry, SC; James Raymond Ruff of Florida; Richie Ruff; grandson raised in the home, Antwone N. Ruff; three aunts, one uncle, four sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
