Beatrice Wise

Funeral services for Ms. Beatrice "Snag" Wise, age 60,  will be conducted on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Werts Cemetery.

Ms. Wise passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.  Born in Prosperity, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Thomas B. Wise and the late Neomia Bookman Wise.

Ms. Wise was predeceased by brothers, James Jimmy Wise, Larry Wise and Howard Wise; sisters, Rillia Wise and Lillie Ann Wise; brother-in-law, Henderson Hawkins.

Surviving are a devoted special champanion Demetrius Dewalt, a daughter, Nancy Wise of Newberry, SC; sons, Randell D. Wise of Prosperity, SC and James A. Wise of Newberry, SC; sisters, Jessie L. Hawkins, Mattie L. Wise, Mary L. Wise,  Anna K. Wise and Thomasina (Michael) Longshore; brothers, Thomas Wise, Jr., William L. Wise, Virgil (Betty)Wise and James A. Wise, Ernest Jackson and John E. Jackson all of Prosperity, SC; nine grandchildren, eight aunts, three uncles, three sisters-in-law, special aunt, Nanny Wise; devoted niece, Mattie Davenport; devoted friends, Kat Simms, and Juquettas Dodson; other relatives and friends.
