Annne Virginia Clark

Funeral services for Mrs. Anne Virginia Mae Dreher Clark, age 69, will be conducted on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Werts Cemetery.

Mrs. Clark passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Melvina Mayers Bowers and the late Arthur Bowers.  She was a member of the Rock of Ages #294 Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

Mrs. Clark was predeceased by her husband, Clarence James Clark; brothers, Robert Bowers, Sr. and Malworth Bowers, Sr.; sisters, Clauvarin Bowers Hall, Sadelma Bowers Kinard and Bessie Anne Mitchell; nephew, Robert Bowers, Jr.; niece, Stephanie Suber.

Surviving are daughters, Cynthia Dreher (Jodie Riley) of Thomasville, NC; Melvina Dreher of Winston-Salem, NC; sons, Michael Mitchell (Deborah); Tracey Dreher all of Duluth MN; Sener Davis (Roger); Vivian Hunter and Deborah McLeod; brother, Gettis Bowers (Dorothy) all of Chapin, SC; sixteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one aunt, two sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
