Allen Adam Herbert

Funeral services for Mr. Allen Adam Herbert, age 64, will be conducted on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Hannah AME Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Allen Frank Herbert and the late Virginia Hair Herbert.  He was a member of Hannah AME Church and a former employee of Stokes-Trainor.  Mr. Herbert was a graduate of Gallman High School.

Mr. Herbert was predeceased by a brother, Virnelson Herbert.

Surviving are his devoted companion, Belinda A. Rikard; son, Mandrel Langford of Charlotte, NC; step-sons, Harry A. Goggans (Carmen); Esco F. Rikard (Denise) of Newberry, SC; sisters, Mary Bookman of Little Mountain, SC; Azalee Herbert of Newberry, SC; Betty Lyles (Kenneth) of Pomaria, SC; Thelma Herbert of Lexington, SC; brothers, James Frank (Emma) Herbert  and John Earl (Deborah) Herbert all of Prosperity, SC; Mike Herbert of Newberry, SC; Raymond Kenny (Linda) Herbert of Prosperity, SC; Paul (Beverly) Herbert of Newberry, SC; Calvin Herbert; six grandchildren, Kashari Langford, Autumn Rikard, Darius Goggans, Esco Rikard, Jalen Goggans and Carly Thomas;  two aunts, Viola Herbert of Detroit, MI; Hattie Bell Brown of Buffalo, NY; devoted friends, Wyman Burton, Johnny and Larry Livingston, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
