Aaron Sartor

Funeral services for Mr. Aaron Sartor, age 61, known by family and friends as "Butch", will be conducted on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Sartor passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.  Born in Union County, he was the son of Johnsie Pearl Hawkins Goode and the late Willie Seer Sartor.

He was predeceased by one brother, Albert Sartor and brother-in-law, Ralph Moss.

Surviving are his mother, Johnsie Pearl Hawkins Goode; daughter, Dena Sartor (Marcus) Senn of Gaston, SC; son, Albert Whitener of Union, SC; sisters, Mable (James) Bush of Whitmire, SC; Dena Moss of Atlanta, GA; and Joy (Robert) Smith of Whitmire, SC;  brothers, Amos (Emily) Sartor, Sr. and Sandy (Tonya) Sartor all of Whitmire, SC; two grandchildren, Keasia Montgomery and Taji Whitemer; aunts, Virginia Hunter, Viola Stevens, Ale (Joseph) Harper, Josephine Chick, Ethel Sims and Alberta Hopkins; uncles, Joseph Sartor, John Sartor, Edward Chick, Willie Chick, Jr. and James Chick; sister-in-law, Dora Sartor of Whitmire, SC; devoted cousin, Marvis Floyd; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
